Welcome to my site. Hopefully soon I will be welcoming you to our lovely Emerald Coast. Let me start by giving you a little background info about me. I am an ex U.S. Air Force (retired) photographer with 25 years experience in photography.  Photography has been my hobby, passion and profession for over 25 years. I specialize in beach portraits because there is no finer backdrop for portraits than the breathtaking colors of our Emerald Coast. Try and watch one of our beautiful sunsets and you will see a spectacular array of colors changing before your eyes. Each day has a different color scheme.

 There is no sitting fee. I shoot digital with professional high resolution SLR camera systems. You will see your proofs within 2 days . You should book your photo session in advance. Keep in mind the summer season can get very crowded and I would not like to turn anyone away. I prefer to shoot early morning and late afternoon. The times will vary depending the month of the year. Try to schedule your session at the beginning of your stay. If the weather becomes a problem we can reschedule. I will shoot in all conditions except rain.

All shots are in color and can be later printed in Sepia or Black and White

I recommend that you wear whatever makes you comfortable. Colors of white, earth tones and soft pastels look best against our brilliant white sands and blue green waters. Denim or Khaki pants are quite popular. Shoes are not needed. If you are a Surfer or Fisherman nut like me, I can also do special shots with your surfboard, biggest catch etc. Check out my photo gallery for the silhouette shots of skimboarders and other portraits.
